They look identical to the Wood River chisels, which seem to be quite good value. They take a good edge and hold it reasonably well.

I just got the set of 6 bevel edged ones from them, $61with free delivery. I was quite impressed with how they look out of the box especially at that price. They took very little time to hone up to shaving sharp. I haven't had time to try them yet so dont know how well they will hold their edge, but I think they will be ok.

Do you have a link to where you got them? How flat were the backs when you got them & what did you do to hone them?

Quick run out and knock up a large dovetail chest of draws so you can report back on the edge keeping ability.

Got them from RC Fine Tools which is the same place in your pics.
The backs were not bad, I only flattened the first 20 mils or so. To hone them I used My veritas firstly on a piece of 1000 grit wet & dry then a 6000 grit waterstone, they only took a few minutes each to get shaver sharp.

As far as I know Qiangsheng make all of Woodriver's planes and chisels. There are some differences (A-2 plane irons in Woodriver for instance) but I would be surprised if they were not ostensibly the same. The chisels, I believe, are exactly the same.
These same products are sold in the UK by Workshop Heaven branded 'Quangsheng'. They are also sold under the Luban brand in various markets.
McJing sell the block planes (with a bronze lever cap as opposed to the Luban stainless one) at very attractive prices.
There are heaps of products that come out of China under unrecognised Brands that are identical (or near identical) to branded products from the same factories.
I would acknowledge that the brand names are often very proactive in improving the base product and overseeing the quality of the production. Woodriver is certainly one of these.
