I drove round one Factory precinct on Sunday but all there were were crappy pine ones. Maybe all the good stuff have been snaffled already. There was one with a bit of red gum (I think) in the base, but I need to keep a hammer in the car don't I.

As for the challenge great idea have seen some excellent pieces at a display in Goulburn a while ago all made from various pallet types ad materials. If there is no limit to amount of timber used or design size etc
If I recall correctly there was a fellow who had pallets/creats come into his work which were of Cherry and other nice woods from USA.
