Old post I know but it is something that has been on my mind quite a bit lately. is there anyone out there who has attempted to make a high quality bike frame from wood? I have some nice blackwood and was thinking of trying my hand at making one. Just thought I would ask others what they had learned and or done first.
I am told that sharpening handsaws is a dying art.... this must mean I am an artisan.
Get your handsaws sharpened properly to the highest possible standard, the only way they should be done, BY HAND, BY ME!!! I only accept perfection in any saw I sharpen.

Some of these are great, I can see my Giant getting a hacksaw job soon. Great fun project to have running on the side.
