Recommend an accurate small table saw
What i would like to obtain is a small (7.25") table saw to make small boxes and the like. Any ideas?
Also need breathing mask - over nose and mouth (not full face) has to be positive air displacement kind (1 lung that works sometimes). And it also needs to fit around a bloody big head (sigh) 28".
Umm, the idea is to let me make things whilst keeping them small and manageable. Using all hand tools all the time is not an option.
Sigh, gone are the days of chainsaws, sledgehammers and bridge spikes - now that was woodworking.

small table saw
Hi
Maybe you could have a look at the Triton threads. I don't know much about these combination benches, but I'm sure you could find one which would accomodate a circular saw of the size you are thinking about, plus other tools.
Cheers, Micro

Yer kidding me right? $1,050??????:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
Whoever is doing that outta be shot. The stoopid little things run for well under $200 here. Well, they aren't really stoopid, but they are very small. About the size of a large-ish shoebox. They also do a very good job by all accounts. If you could read Japanese I could scan and email you a review of one.
Woulda mentioned this one earlier, but had no idea if they were available in Oz or not. Seems they might as well not be.
