Redgum tanning on driveway
A couple of weeks ago I built a 20m long retaining wall out of Redgum sleepers about a metre off our side fence, and a couple of days ago I had our concretor come by to pour the driveway. Well yesterday we had a bit of rain in the area and as a result the tanning from the sleepers have leaked onto the driveway Ive spoken to a couple of people about this and they suggested I wait at least another 6 weeks for all the tanning to be leaked out before I stain the sleepers. So it looks like Im going to be having a bit of a issue with this because the driveway is coloured so I cant clean it with a cleaner that contains acid. I was recommended to buy a high pressure water blaster and try that but he didnt really seem too confident that it will do much. So Im just wondering if anyone has any advice on what I could use to remove the tanning on the driveway, Thanks

You could paint the driveway with a concrete paint the same colour as the drive . This would cover up the tannin stain.
I've just become an optimist . Iv'e made a 25 year plan -oopps I've had a few birthdays - better make that a 20 year plan

If the concrete is coloured with oxide I'd be surprised if you couldn't use oxalic acid to decolourise the tannin. But would wait for the sleepers to stop leaching before trying it and not before the concrete is a month or so old.
Oh, Nappisan is another one to try

Pressure cleaning should work. I'm actually staining a driveway next week. You can do it with a backpack sprayer very quickly. I'm looking for some non-acid stain.
