Best way to seal this timber?
Hi, I've got some Yarran (I think) wood that after pulling off the sapwood exposed a very wrinkled surface. I'd like to keep this look but would like to know what is the best way to seal it?
My first thought was to brush it with shellac but I could be there for a while trying to build up enough layers. Would an epoxy resin be best? I'm open to suggestions please.
It looks nicer than the photo is actually showing due to the picture being taken in the shed under halogen lighting which caused the white balance to go a bit astray.
Thanks,
Shane.
