Stanley 45 planes
My wife has given me a Stanley 45 plane it is complete except for the instructions does any one know where I can down load instructions? Also I have a Stanley 78 it is missing the fence, depth gauge and scribing spur along with the screws to secure the fence and depth gauge any one know where I can get these parts?

Go to Knowledge base, click the Search Knowledge Base button. In the window that opens scroll down and click the next page link, now click the Stanley 45 Plane Instructions link where you can download a manual in pdf format.
For the 78 go to Parts and Service, download the Repair Parts Catalogue and see if the parts you require are listed.
