Hi there,
Anyone know where to buy 1/16th thick ply or mdf? Or some other wood product that is very thin? In Perth WA? Its for a backyard cnc machine.

Why so thin? One sixteenth ply would require 1/32 maximum for each veneer, less glue allowance. One sixteenth MDF is substantially cardboard. Either one is very weak for precision control, especially outdoors. Is steel or aluminium or plastic unacceptable?

There is bending ply (3 ply) which is 1.5mm (approx 1/16") sheet 2400 X 1200 costs around $63.00 per sheet. Available from Mister Plywood, not sure if he is in WA. But at least it is available.
The other if you can get it is thinner @ 1mm aeroplane ply not sure if it is still imported came from Finland or Sweden.
