My comment about not reading other people's posts was not directed at missing the timestamps. It was directed at the later posting where a few members had pointed out that it was an old thread, and the problem long solved.

Some people, who since PMed me confirming my suspicion, don't bother reading what other people have added before jumping in, so they missed reading the posts pointing out that the thread was very old. They pointed out quite clearly that they don't have time to read what others write.

They were the ones my comment was referring to. Have the curtesy of reading other people's inputs. And I have read all the ones here, including the deleted ones. (Sorry Sigidi - that's not directed at you - just re-read this post and it could be taken that way)

Yoy should have seen the whole post. he addressed it to Soundman but I think was referring to me. He finished off with his comment to Stuart.

    Hi Joe.

You're correct. I'll remember that one as I teach schoolkids - I won't quote it in context, however.

Thanks, Eddie. Got most of it the hard way, unfortunately. The "road less travelled" and all that.

Strewth, just wanted to have a small rant and it's turned into one of my biggest post in nearly 3 and a half years of being a member.

It really was just a bit of letting out some steam ( possibly not even steam - wasn't that much of an issue) addmittedly for me I did not understand the references to Jesus and Lazarus but, that's my infedel upbringing. Anyway many times with the written word, when dealing with any level of emotion whethher it's comedy or anger, it's totally dependent upon the reader as to if the 'tone' of the writing is received in the manner it was writen.

Just one thing which makes the forum interesting, if it was just straight information, we would all have to be nerds to stay here....
