Here are the units so far, both cabinets have two coats of oil and finished with Ubeaut Traditional Wax. Still have to make/put the top on and some skirting to cover the coasters underneath. These were a reaction to the weight of the units, so at least we will be able to move them around a little. As previously stated, I am not overly happy with my irregular gaps around the drawers but I am not a good enough woody to do perfect work so I can live with it. There probably wont be much progress over the next couple of weeks due to working on weekends but will see what I can get done. Need to have them finished by Mar 12 as we are supposed to sail then.

Work has been chaos and some other priorities that jumped ahead of the drawers so progress slowed down significantly. We sail on Tuesday so I had to get them finished this weekend. Put the first coat of oil on top and skirting last weekend, put the second on last night and good ole ubeaut wax went on after the boys swimming lessons this afternoon. Dont think I will be doing a WIP thread again for a while.

    Enjoy....

Nice, the exposed DT's set it off well.

Nice chests of Drawers Corbs - should be worth lots of brownie points! They have a nice solid look and the contrast is great.
