    Default Woodwork Channel

    Hi all,

Just wondering if any of you have been watching the Woodwork Channel on the Internet? I've picked up some good tips so far. Interesting though, there's a segment called The New British Woodshop (or something or other) and the guy who presents it has a really good Aussie accent.

    Cheers,
    Keith

    Hi Keith53,

You don't happen to have a link to the site do you? I tried to google search "the woodwork channel" but came up empty.

    Try this:

    http://www.thewoodworkingchannel.com/

You need broadband though. I've got a 512k service and it works fine.

Obviously that channel works but when I tried (twice) to open it my security showed up red. Unfortunately I hit the 'go' button at the instant I noticed the warning. Sooooooo, after gnashing of teeth and closing everything down - I was without my computer for about 30 minutes till the channel site went away.
    Just a caution.

Buy another TV mate - or send the "war office" ( ) off to do something useful - like ironing or such

I've been watching it on and off for a few weeks now and never had a problem. What browser you using and what firewall/virus program you running? And why where you without a computer for 30 minutes?? Worst case turn the computer off and restart in safe mode, do a system check then restart normally. Works for me (when nothin else does!)
Have a nice day - Cheers

Gee you are lucky . My SWMBO says we don't need Foxtel . I can buy a few other goodies and sneek them in - bit hard to do that with Foxtel though
