Woodwrights Shop
Discovered a PBS podcast last night that has got me hooked. It is a US program and I am sure it will interest others as well. Its called the Woodwrights Shop and the presenter is a gent named Roy Underhill.
Sort of a blend of Scott Phillips, Christopher Schwarze and David Charlesworth I guess is the best description. He is all about old, historical methods of woodworking and boy, does he make it all look just so easy.
Podcasts are online and each program goes about 30 minutes and are viewable using Realplayer.
Website link is http://www.pbs.org/wws/schedule/21stseason.html and there are 12 shows per season. There are seasons from 2001 to current.
Hope it interests others just as much.

Doesn't work with mine. You can only save the link.
A lot of places won't allow you to download streaming video because they want the traffic.
You need a ripping program.

Woodright's Shop
Roy Underhill works for a place where they act as it was in the 1700-1800's. I think it was called Colonial Virginia. It's really interesting to watch them use things like pit saws or do blacksmithing. Everything he does makes you appreciate what you have today.

Great link but would eat up the download allowance wouldn't it?
Reality is no background music.
