I have an old Japanese whale back, but not quite as large. It's more of a wall decoration than a user. To be quite honest, I find my old 6ft crosscut saw performs better if I want a bit of exercise or need to keep the noise level down while cutting up logs. Both were developed before chainsaws, which get the job done so much quicker. So if I need to cut up logs I go for the Husky. If I need to cut fine joints and the like I go for one of my Japanese handsaws.
    Stay sharp and stay safe!

    Neil
