Thread: Looking to buy a van

I got to see the VAN in person today top notch it made a special delivery to my place Geoff came along for the ride.
Now anyone who knows or has seen Geoff knows he's not vertically challenged by any standard (well ok maybe by Harlem Globtrotter standard) he's at least 6'2" and he can stand up straight inside this thing .
Room to swing cat nah Tiger yes.
The ideas came flooding when I saw interior space, mobile home with workshop came to mind its big enough. You could easily set up the mill, lathe and triton and still have room for an over head bed area lounge room down stairs.

With the packing of the van FINALLY finished yesterday, I set off to brave Sunday traffic in a fully loaded van, the first time I've driven it other than empty.
I was surprised to find it still drove like a car, albeit a fairly heavy one, and once I got used to the stopping distance and change in acceleration, it was quite relaxing.
A test today as it's pouring here in Goulburn where I stopped for the nightGeoff

Vans
Geoff,
The best thing you can buy or google is 'the Dog & Lemon Guide' a great publication that gives you the low down on just about every motor vehicle, including vans. they are a bit merciless but you do get a good idea of what works [and continue working] and what won'tColin Howkins
