20th May 2005, 07:28 PM #16Are we still on for tomorrow?
I trust everyone has my email with details of where, what, when. If you don't, shoot me a PM.
Bring your blades (best and worst), and above all bring your sense of humour!
Regards
Derek

Hi Derek,
Just found this post. Count me in, if there is room. Have sent you a PM with my contact details. If you could advise, (phone me) of the address that would be great. If you miss this post, then not to worry, some other time.
Cheers and thanks

A personal thanks to Derek for a great day. Derek’s knowledge of the dark side is amazing and his willingness to share it with us made it very enjoyable.
There was even a world premier of the new Veritas sharpening jig which was very impressive.
I have never seen so many hand planes in one place but I must admit some of them did arrive in some rather strange wrappers.
It was great to meet the Perth Woodies and I hope we can do this again.Cheers,
Rod

Yep, Champion day Derek..What Rod said. Thanks very much and I apologise for being late, leaving early and trying to steal your HNT smoother . The bangers where good, as was the red but we are going to have to work on your coffee selection:eek: . Also, next time make sure if Col is coming to double order on the tucker .
I have some more photos to post shortly but here is the world first at Derek's shed. I think Lee Valley will be getting some orders (watch the website before you ask here for the price cause we don't know)
Thanks again Derek and can we do it again next weekend when I'm not doing quotes, selling boats and buying Bobcats .

Really good day. Thanks, Derek. I always learn something useful from talking to you. Great to meet the other blokes, too.
And, as everyone can see from the evidence in Squizzy's last photo, his unkind remarks about my appetite are entirely unjustified. I'm the slim bloke with the glass of wine at the extreme left of the shot
