I don't know about you, but I wouldn't turn up at a dance in tan trousers and a beaten up old tweed (sort of) jacket

BTW, wouldn't be seen dead in a blerry Volvo - I do have some taste you know! Audi pour moi. Vorsprung Durch Technik" you know!

    Greg, Sean et al,

I'm afraid that I'm going to have to pull the plug on this one as I've just come out of hospital (stage 1), and will be undergoing some (what the Doc euphemistically calls) "aggressive" treatment over the next 6 ~ 8 weeks

Hopefully I'll be able to come along to the next gathering...

No stress about the BBQ, just get well.

I'll still be going, if anyone wants to bot a ride.

    Cheers...................Sean

Back to the BBQ, I am afraid you will have to include me out, we are acquiring a teenager on the 3rd, Miss 12 just reminded me as I had forgotten.
I shall, however, endeavour to get a couple of rolls of the laminate edging over to Scooter before the occassion, would appreciate if Mr Scooter could drop me a PM with his phone numbers so I can arrange a drop off.
    Cheers.

At least that bypasses all those years of play group, kinder and primary school.
