Default Online Book - Limited Time Access

The Knovel library has provided free access for a limited period. You can access their online book "Wood Handbook - Wood as an Engineering Material" for the next 7 days only (not sure when it started).

Thanks Groggy, nice find. The USDA Forest Service handbooks are always informative and now another one resides on my hard drive .

    What the ???

Way too technical for this little black duck - I just make stuff out of wood.

(Check out book 7 - fastenings. Go to the top of page 8. If anybody in the world can make sense of that, well, you have my deepest sympathy. )
If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

Did you get there by reading through the first six books? Perhaps it's you who needs our sympathy!
