You gotta be jokin' Bob. The going rate for pens here in Oz is around A$25 you are talking A$80+. Howz-about you buy them from us and sell 'em over there. You would make a killing and so would we.

There are 495 members of this Bulletin Board and probably over 200 who could make you great pens. However at those prices I'll bet a lot more would go out and buy lathes so they can get in on the act.

Doorstop and a couple of others could have a thousand ready by next week will that be enough to start with.

Colour is no problem. Send A$20,000 and we'll mail them out on Monday. Hehehehehehhehehe

    Sorry! - Neil Mwahahahahahehehehehehoho

    Unhappy

Bloody hell....sacrilege.. who dares wins must be an outmoded motto to this bloke.
I admire him though for having the nerve to try and sell pens on a woodworkers web site that has predominance of woodturners on board.
Will this be at the forefront of things to come with no come back to sponsers...hehehe
Next it'll be open market day via your favourite web site!!!!
If your stuffs that good why do you have to sell it via the Web because we all know that quantity doesn'nt necessarily beget quality!
    Stay cool hang loose!
    Cheers

    Question

After Bob has refunded the money for thirty days, then what? Does the poor bugger have to send it back?

    Talking

Just to top it all off, I was in Officeworks yesterday and they have 'real' wood pens for $2.95. Didn't look too bad and a touch cheaper than $80.
I watched a bloke at Carbatec churn out pens in two minutes, looked alright too.....maybe it was Bob and he went to the USA.
