It would be nice if some of the WA forum members could arrange to meet at the show at an agreed day/time. Good to put some faces to names. Have a beer or two. I'm interested - anyone else?

Good idea Derek,
Perhaps we could come up with a time, day and location at the show to meet.
I'm sure that most of the Sandgropers will be there on at least one day.

I'm fortunate that I can go on any day. Perhaps we should wait and see how many people want to meet up and choose a time/date which suits the majority.
I'm happy with either the Fri or the Sat.
Are we going to see any of the gurus from the Eastern states at this years show?

I'll definitely be in this.
Friday's not a great day for me but if we can get together on Saturday I'd enjoy meeting the rest of you blokes over a beer and a sandwich.

OK, guys, since I started the thread I will cast the final vote. I suggest we meet at midday on Saturday, 16th.
Where? Just inside the entrance to the main hall? Other suggestions welcomed.
How will we recognise each other? Clutch a long-stemmed red rose in your mouth? Suggestions?

Done Deal Derek.
Seeya just inside the entrance at midday, Saturday 16th.
If someone comes along with a piece of cardboard with
"woodworkforum.ubeaut.com.au" written on it and stands just inside the entrance, anyone wishing to can approach and introduce themselves. Sorta like a greeter at the airport.
I'll do it if you like. I'll print up a sign and stand there like a galah until someone comes up to say hello.
Whatdaya reckon? Any other takers?
Cheers

WA Woodwork show
I am going to the show and will be at the entry at midday on Saturday provided that the Winsome Wench lets me loose in time.
I will be driving up from Albany that morning and the WW will see meeting up with the kids as a priority.
BTW. We arrived home from west coast USA, Alaska and Canada just today after a great trip. Looked at some magnificent Amish furniture in Portland Oregon and now have projects to last me for 10 years.
