Precision Double Square, now with ruler marked blades!
Hello to all Woodworkers,
Here is a bit of shameless self promotion on my part, but if I don't do it, who else is going to??
Some of you may know about my little double square, some of you may even have one.
Brand new to this week I have had a major upgrade of this tool, it now comes with both large and small blades calibrated very accurately in metric as per a ruler.
Click this link to my website to see the new photos and info.
Made from all hardened and precision ground tool steel and accurate to less than a 'thou of an inch over the length of the blade.
In other latest news, LESS THAN A WEEK 'til the Melbourne wood show, and I am having the usual panic of getting everything ready. (Happens every year, and every year I say that won't happen again, I WILL be prepared earlier next year, I WILL, yes, I'm sure I will. and here we go again!)
I will be there on my own stand as per usual, all of the tools will be there on my workbench for anyone to try out and ask questions of.
I have just received a shipment of the superb Canadian made Adria Saws, Tenon and Dovetail saws, as well at the Australian made Academy Saws HSS replacement plane blades. I will have plenty of both in stock at the Wood Show. If you want a plane blade, bring along your old blade or the measurements and number of slots so you can get the right one. There will be bench plane blades as well as block plane and spokeshave blades. I will also have the Academy Saws straight edges at the show. The highly accurate straight edges are essential for checking machine tables, plane bottoms, timber and rulers for distortion.
Hope to see some of you there.
Cheers,
Chris Vesper
