Konnichiwa from Japan. How would you like to have your very own agent in Japan buying Japanese tools, wood and tansu for you? Intrigued? Well, first please let me introduce myself:

Led by my long interest in the samurai, in 1990 I came from Canada to live in Himeji, home of the largest samurai castle surviving in original condition today. As a member of a local guide group, I have studied the amazing devices of Himeji Castle (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) in minute detail, and have enjoyed broadening my knowledge of samurai practices, thinking and lifestyle, as well. During my time here, I have amassed a nice collection of various samurai accoutrements, as well as other interior items (like tansu and tools!!) But alas, my Japanese apartment (and my budget) is only so big, so I started to sell some - to make room for more! Well, one thing led to another, and I ended up becoming an antique dealer. Until a few years ago, I had mostly just bought from and sold to reputable local dealers, but now I buy mostly from auctions and sell on eBay (enter araki0726 under "feedback forum"on the main page) as well as directly to an ever growing list of satisfied regular customers and friends all over the world.

If you'd like me to search for specific items, please email me at [email protected] or send me a message via the forum. I search internet auctions and shops and send pics and info. by email. If the client is interested to purchase, I will bid on his behalf and ship the items to him. Payment can be made by Paypal, IPMO or bank transfer. I can procure new and old tools, wood, tansu, and pretty much anything else your heart desires. One note regarding large items! Postal rules vary by country, but generally speaking, the maximum size package I can send is: 2W + 2D + L = max. 2.75 (3.0 for UK and Aust.) with a 1.5m L maximum. Serious inquiries only please! Yoroshiku. Kelly
