Cool Harbor bridge pano Pawnhead - I like the angle of the shot(s). I'm not sure about adding all that stuff to it but hey, if that's what you are into - keep doing your thing.
Yep I have many of my panoramas (including the Salami scene) in QTVR - they are just too big to show here. I used to have a website about all this stuff but got tired of answering peoples questions about it I turned it off.
I've finally gotten around to stitching some of the panos I took in Europe with my new 50D.
This is a 6 x 15 Mp shots - 180º 60Mp shot reduced to 1600 pixels wide. Shot inside with no flash at ASA 3200. I'm pretty happy with the alignment considering it is hand held and so close to the camera.
The next one is a vertical hand held pano of the inside of a church. 7 x 15 Mp shots merged to 75 Mp original pano reduced to 1600 pixels wide. These are tricky to do without getting dizzy. I braced myself on a pew inside the church. Also 3200 ASA.

Wow that's really something Bob. There's a lot of detail in those. How big are the originals?
That shot of the harbour, started out as just increasing the size of the Opera house to give it more presence under the bridge, but then my whacked out sense of humour got the better of me. Sometimes I'm glad that I'll never grow up even if I might make a fool of myself sometimes.
Here's the full sized original, no mucking around. It reduced from 36Mb to under 3.3 Mb when I saved it at 25% quality. I had to reconstruct the pylon above the arches, and that missing frame where I had to reconstruct the curve of the road, so I'd like to go back and get a more complete coverage. It's a huge picture and I'm impressed with the quality of the original, but there was a bit of work fixing up all the missalignments in this one as I've said.
Edit: Oh I see you've answered my questions. You must have added to your post. I had this post loaded last night, but I didn't press 'post' until just now.
Those QTVRs are awesome, and I can see where you'd be coming from. I'd probably be pestering you with questions myself, but why don't you throw some adds on the site and see if it can turn a profit?

It's fairly normal to have to do some patching especially with hand held sequences. That's a big advantage of the Panoramic tripod head that the adjacent frames line up much closer than hand held but even then its not perfect and some fiddling is needed.
Anyway you did a good job on the patching and if you had not pointed it out it would have taken me a while to find it.
