They are just beautiful photos. You must have a special camera to assist with taking those photos. Would you have any recommendations on a nice camera I could purchase as I will be retiring in a couple of years and I would like to take lovely photos like those you posted.
Cheers

I just finished child-proofing our house - but they still get inside.

I was going to say more unfelled turning blanks.
Very nice work again Gruñón Juan. I was there in 2005 and had two adolescents with me - not much opportunity to get out for pics unfortunately (and I've just been reminded of what my son's hair was like then - CRIKEY!).
Without wishing to distract from your pics, here area few of a slightly different nature. There is some really nice architecture in BH, and some have great hits of colour.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.
I suppose I should have given a brief description of each of the photos, so here goes:
Photo 1, Day Dream Mine, turn off on the Broken Hill - Silverton Road. Well worth a visit.
Photo's 2-5. Pamamaroo Lake. Beautiful spot, and some nice free camp sites there Neil.
Photo 6. Dry creek bed on the track to Day Drram Mine.
Photo 7. One of the ruins at Silverton.
Photo's 8 & 9. The Woolshed at Lake Kinchega NP.
Here's some more.

Hi Woody, I'm using a Canon 7D, which is considered a "pro-sumer" SLR. After the visit we did to NZ last year my wife became interested in photography also so I bought her a Canon 100D, a lot cheaper and lighter than my 7D, but still takes great photos. Just remember that the lens is just as important (maybe more so) as the body. Whatever DSLR you decide on try not to get sucked in to getting a "kit" lense. It might seem like a good deal, but in the long run you're better off with better quality "glass". All my lenses are Sigma.
Hope this helps, maybe a topic for another thread. To grow old is inevitable.... To grow up is optional

Many thanks for your advice. I will take it all on board. I also look into doing some lessons on photography.
Cheers

Beautiful Photos John!!!
I spent a year in the Hill and those photos sure bring back some memories.
The council must have done some work on the streets. My memory of that intersection is one of roads with very deep gutters on either side and a rather confused and bumpy crossing of the roads!
The pelicans on Menindee lakes are superb !!.
The old ute looks like it was painted by Pro Hart who lived in the Hill.
Did you get out to Silverton?
