VIVID a very wet night.
I took the grandaughter into Sydney tonight to take a few pictures of the Vivid Light Festival. It was a very wet outing so we were restricted to either huddling under umbellas or ducking for cover. Hopefully the weather will improve and we get a second chance before it ends to take some pictures without tonights hassle.
These are a few of the area around Circular Quay including Customs House and the Opera House. I thought the Opera House lighting was a little disappointing compared to previous years. It may have been more Hitech than previous but it certainly lacked colour. And my head I'd be a scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain.

Great photos. And what memories will your grand daughter have to talk about in years to come when her Grand Pa took her to town t see the lights. (Priceless memories)
Just do it!
Kind regards Rod

Great shots Ruddy, nice and sharp and great colours.
Cheers Fred

Nice photos Ruddy. Don't complain too much about the rain, night shots always seem to be sharper/crisper if there is a bit of moisture around.

You missed an interesting photo op with the rain.
There was a walkway left along the front of the Modern Art Gallery and you could shoot up through the rain being illuminated by the laser & projector show.
I got some stills and movie footage but I could have done better if I wasn't keeping up with friends on the way to dinner.
