    I figure it's time to go legit and buy some music for once. Can anyone point me to their favorite site(s).

    You didn't mention which type of music you prefer, which makes it a bit difficult to recommend.

    iTunes probably has the widest selection of music.

    eMusic is a lot cheaper, has a good back-catalogue, and has a great variety of non-mainstream stuff.

    Dance music ... well, that depends on your preferences. Digifreq is a good evaluation site for new releases, Beatport is very popular for EDM, PerfectBeat is tops for the same-sex oriented, MinistryOfSound also has a great catalog.

    If Dance music is your thing, and you let me know which sub-genres you prefer, I'll make some more targetted recommendations.
