    Default Bosch PMF 180

I am going to be under taking some repairs to the house after the floods. I was lucky enough to get all my tools out so I have all my big ticket items. Seeing its my birthday coming up soon, SWMBO has given me some shopping credits to spend on what ever I want. I was loking at the Bosch multi tool and hadn't read much about it but it looks ok. I was wondering if any one has one and what are your thoughts? Are there any real differences between the green 240v or the cordless blue version other than colour and a cable? And Price?

I was given one as a present so I did not buy a Fein, normaly if I was to buy for myself I would not buy any thing that is not rated as industrial. I have used the Bosch extensivly and have never had a problem, I would miss it if I did not have it, only drawback is the overpriced replacement blades but from what I can see all these units the Fein + clones have this prblem

I recently purchased this myself for a small job of cutting skirting. I have also used it on removing a shelf and cutting square holes in the back of a bookshelf to access a GPO. The tool is available in a variety of forms from basic tool to deluxe with several blades. If you can get the deluxe version, in my case I paid $10 more than a kit with over $100 worth of extra blades. If using it for an extended time wear gloves. Good Luck.

Thanks guys for the responses. It looks like a handy tool to own so I might just have to buy one. I can see it coming in handy for fine work around windows.
