Default Anyone have a Bosch Prio Sander?

Has anyone tried out the Bosch Prio cordless sander?

I am mainly interested in running times.

I've had one since they first hit the shelves.

I like it a lot - perfect for leaving on the bench ready to go for small jobs, rounding over edges, getting into tight spaces etc.

Not great if you want to sand all day - the battery life isn't all that hot. I haven't bothered to time it, but it's not ideal if you need to do a lot of sanding. It recharges pretty quickly, but I think they sacrificed run time for weight - it's very light.

I think it's the best thing since sliced bread for what it's intended to handle - but for a lot of sanding you also need a corded sander.

Thanks for that. I am interested in it for both the workshop and also grafiti removal out in the sticks. It looks good for home use.

I currently drag a generator and grinder type sander around, and it is either getting heavier or I am getting older

Looked at the DeWalt cordless grinder? Might do the trick.

I have one of the cordless sanders and it lasts on average about 35-40 minutes depending on what you are doing. I saw bosch also have a cordless grinder kit out with a torch and cordless drill for about $600 at Glenfords,
