Looks like a bosch knockoff..
http://www.bosch-pt.com/productspeci...pmf180e/au/en/
Personally I'd go with bosch. Parts would be easier to find and probably cheaper than overpriced dremel stuff. Looks like an interesting tool. I like how the demo I saw you could cut holes etc in gyproc easily which would be what I'd get it for as well as cutting hard to reach places which typically reduce you to a stanley knife or hacksaw and the pain it brings. I'll probably grab the bosch later next year when I carry out some renovating.

Probably this is a direct knock-off of the Fein MultiMaster - and quite a bit cheaper. I have the Bosch - it has been a very precise (but slow) tool for cutting/sawing in cramped environments.
When my Bosch gives up I had intended to get the Fein tool - now maybe I should also look at the Dremel one..

hi there buddy, i was in the US and saw this 2 weeks ago whilst on Holidays, i looks good but it is not as robust as the Fein MultiMaster, and lacked accessories, i have a Multimaster and it is just another copy. The Fein eats it for lunch.

Are you sure it's not just a relabelled Bosch? If you look at the video at that site, the heading is "Bosch demo". The Fein has a much better system for attaching blades. No tools needed. Just the flick of a lever to release one and attach another. Since I've had my Fein, I've had to use it infront of our builder and plumber. Both now intend buying the Fein.

I have had my Fein Multimaster now for a couple of years and wouldn't be without it. As soon as I saw the Dremel it was plain it was a straight copy, they even went as close to the name as possible. If Renovation Man's assessment of the Dremel is correct then the answer is simple. Why think of buying a less robust copy with fewer accessories? The one problem with the Fein is you keep finding more things it can do.
Oh yes, Wood Worm mentioned one other problem with the Fein, Don't use it when others are around. Architect friend of mine saw me use it to cut a groove in a door post next to an 1890's leadlight window., He was terrified the vibration would damage the window. He's just bought a Fein Multimaster.
