What did you have to tell me that for? Now I've got to in when I'm up next week and see if I want one of those MC900 lathes. How am I going to explain this to SWMBO?

Darren, just tell her you need it to make her those custom Red Gum golf tee's she has been wanting.
Cheers

Now why didn't I think of that?
Let's see - tees are about 8 cents each. That's 3738 tees to cover the cost of the lathe and another 1062 to cover the scroll chuck. I'm going to need some more red gum

Tell her she'll just have to be careful not to lose too many or break them coz you'd be devastated after all your hard work
Perhaps it is better to be irresponsible and right, than to be responsible and wrong.

I was hoping their prices would be the same as when they didn't come to the Sydney Woodworking show, but they are all a bit higher.
The MC900 (WL18) was $279 and the BP16A was $636.
Sigh!!
Should have bought then...
Cheers,
Andrew
