    I would like to buy an Hitachi C10FSH scms - any proven methods for convincing the treasurer that such purchases would be to her advantage ?

    Sure!!! just show her pictures you cut from the glossy magazines of all the great new furniture you are going to make, just for her.

    Maybe that new sewing table she's always wanted, or that perfect new desk that will have the kids fighting to do thier homework on, that new broom cupboard the darling mother-in-law has been hinting about ( to keep all her broomsticks in), the list goes on and on.... The saw will not cost money, it will save money, surely she can see that. What a small investment for such a magical machine!!! And of course the saw will need a new work bench if it is to reach it's full potential.
