Default Incra or Kreg Mitre Guage

Is anybody using the Incra 1000, 100SE or the Kreg KMS7102 Mitre Guages.
I am particularly after one on which you can fit an auxillary fence and still be able to use the flip stops and inbuilt measuring.

Or if anybody can recommend another product with this ability that would be handy.

    Thanks, jack.

I have the Incra 2000. Whilst it is very accurate, it is not user friendly. Its main drawback, in my opinion, is that it needs to be disassembled and reassembled in a slightly different configuration to be used in the other mitre slot. This is not hard, but is time consuming, hence a pain in the butt.

I intend to purchase an Osborne EB3 when in Canada later this year. (My Incra will be for sale at a decent price in Septermber.)http://www.leevalley.com/wood/page.a...080,51225&ap=1

It has all the benefits of the Incra and can be switch from one side of the saw blade to the other easily. For what it is worth, it is the mytre guage used by Norm Abrams of "New Yankee Workshop" fame.

Perhaps for some, this is enough to veto the product.

These were just reviewed in the FWW. My reading indicated the Incra first, the Osborne then the Kreg.

    Jack,

I own the Kreg, which used to be called the FasTTrak, and I am very happy indeed with it. It was discussed in these two threads:
    http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com...ead.php?t=6705
    http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com...ead.php?t=8248

In contrast to what Groggy says, the ratings given in FWW #165, with two additional models covered in FW #168, were as follows with prices in US$, (F= Auxiliary fence included):

Delta deluxe ($65) - Very Good
    Woodhaven deluxe (F)($176) - Excellent
    Rockler Sure-loc (F)($130) - Fair
    JDS Accu-miter (F)($180) - Excellent
    Anglewright ($84) - Very Good
    Woodhaven standard ($60) - Excellent
    Incra 1000 (F) ($90) - Good
    Incra 2000 (F) ($150) - Fair
    Incra 3000 (F) ($210) - Fair
    Incra V27 ($60) Excellent
    Osborne EB-3 (F) ($160) Fair
    FasTTrak (F) ($150) - Excellent

That is why I bought the Kreg (FasTTrak), and I have not regretted the decision.

    Thanks guys,

Despite what some of you said I just ordered the Incra 1000SE for US$109.99 from

    http://www.woodcraft.com/search/search.aspx?query=Incra

The Osborne is out of my price range.
The Kreg seems good but you cannot attach a sacrificial fence and still use the flip stops. This is an application I will use quite a bit and is possible with the Incra as the flip stop can be adjusted to straddle an after market fence.

Incidentally, the cheapest I could get the 1000SE in Australia was $295 from
    Melbourne.

    US109.99 plus US$56 for airmail (7 - 10 days) = AUS$212.80. I am not willing to pay an $82 mark up!!

    Jack.
