Another ML-392 thread
Does anyone else, besides Carbatec and Timbecon, offer an ML-392 combo machine or similar.
It appears not, but I just wanna make sure before I commit.
My wife is going to buy me one for my birthday, any suggestions on how I break this to her are also greatfully accepted.Boring signature time again!

Not that I've seen. Last time I looked, they were still around the $900 mark at CT. And i still haven't seen a better value combo around anywhere, despite all the supposed problems (which don't seem to be an given the 'ML 392 saga' thread hasn't been added to recently).
If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

Not aware of anyone else flogging them.

Outback, ask the CT blokes about their AW106PT which I understand is an uprated ML-392 with much better mechanicals. CT in Balcatta seems to skip through these and the guys at Balcatta would not stock or sell ML-392. Bloke their said that a fair bit of effort was put in by someone to remedy the design flaws in the ML-392. Says that they are real happy with the performance of this new model.

Thanks for the imput. There was some talk regarding an upgrade to the old ML-392, but never heard anything of it, so I assumed it was rumour. It would be worth a phone call though.
Failing that, I'll see if I can sneak the tried and proven into the shed under my coat.Boring signature time again!

Leda Machinery here in Adelaide bring in an ML-392 under their own name.
They have a website, but I don't think the pricing is up to date. Give them a call, I believe they make some modifications to the unit after landing it.
