Its a good unit for sure, and so cheap too, at the price a bloke can buy heaps of them and stash them for later on.

I have used mine a dozen or more times and not gently either.

There is a Medalist set of bits for $25 that suit, they are good value.
The smallest is a 5mm & there are also some long bits for going through block walls & a wider spade bit that is good for removing tiles.

Thanks Cliff .... I will look into it.
There were some drill bits at the market yesterday that were identical to the ones supplied with the drill being sold individually. I might pop past again next weekend and pick up a few of the commonly used sizes.

Bought one of these Ozito thingymebobs tonight. Picked up a Bosch tile removing bit. The Bosch bit seems to have a better shape and edge than the bit in the medalist kit. About to test this sucker out tomorrow on removing a load of tile adhesive from the hallway floor. hope it works well!

Update on my cheap as chips Ozito Rotary Hammer drill. RIP. It died on the job yesterday while I was drilling some holes in concrete filled besser blocks for 12mm x 100mm dynabolts. But my word I got a lot of use out of it. As I've only used it for home use I'm gonna see how good the 2 year replacement warranty is.
