I am afraid that I cant help you with this machine as I am not familiar with it. This may mean that it is not all that common and parts and service may be hard to get.
One suggestion is that you join a woodworking club before making any major purchases of equipment. Also hanging around this board will also give you some idea of what tools people are using and recommend. I think that there are a number of people that hastily purchased tools - that they now regret or wish that they had boudht something else.

Thanks numbat
I take heed of your help. i have plenty of time to decide so I amwatching the forum and talking to as many people as I can. Will attend the wood show in sydney for more help deceiding
First project will be the workbench
As i work offshore and will be away from tomorrow for 28 days this leaves plenty of time to dredge the internet.
One other question is it good to use hardwod as a bench top or iff not what us the best

For table saws - people here like either the TSC-10HB (available from Carbatec or Timbecon) http://www.onlinetoolreviews.com/articles/TSC-10HB.htm or the Jet Supersaw. That is for a 10" tablesaw which is what most people use.
In relation to the workbench take a look at the best of the best http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com...ad.php?t=16776 section - look under workbenches for ideas.

AHHM, I hate to be the fly in the ointment and point out the fatal flaw in your plan but.................
Attending the Wood show, whilst fun and all, won't help you decide, it will cause much confusion, angst and dispepsia. You will have an uncontrollable urge to overspend your budget, regardless of how much this is. You will want more toys, a bigger shed to play with them and more time to do so.
The upside is, regardless of what you do buy, it will be like Christmas at your house, well for you anyway.
Good luck, have fun, and lucky bugger.Boring signature time again!
