New toys 4 me!
Finally plucked up the courage to broach the subject of a new TS with SWMBO and she said, "Why not, I'm surprised you have been able to keep the old one going for so long!". Maybe she's feeling guilty about those expensive horse riding lessons she keeps going to.
Anyway because I like to mill the odd bit of bigger stuff I went for a 12" contractor saw on wheels, plus router extension wing (still haven't got that bit yet) and a extra 100 tpi blade.
Also got a 1 HP DC which I have installed outside the shed and started to install a 4" PVC pipe DC system. I've made a lightweight Al sawdust chute for the TS base so that it plugs straight into the DC. I still need a few gates and some extra flex tube but just love how easy it is to sweep the crap in the vicinity of the DC pipe and it picks it up. Yay! Also it does appear to cool my shed down in the evening. Days like sunday when it reached 35oC, the inside of the shed is often still like an oven at around 7pm even though the air outside is cooling off. I reckon running the DC for 20 minutes knocked a couple of degrees off.
Biggest problem was, small shed - fulla lotsa junk, spent all weekend cleaning out the shed and rearranging stuff in the shed and cellar and attic. Other problem, didn't allow for the extra width of the wheels on the saw base and had to widen to shed door to enable me to get it in and out.
Now after all that I will have to show that I am worthy! Could be a while still heaps to do on the shed and bench and DC and electrical and shed cupboards and . . . . .

Welcome to the club mate!
Most of us are continually fighting the space versus kit battle - and still having enough room to swing a "too be fore"
