Default Show Us Your Flitch Fire

It is that time of year and I know we don't all have chippers and everyone likes a good bonfire so show us what you've got. This was about a cube of marri offcuts that I needed to clean out of the front yard before my daughters BD party Sunday. Looks alot smaller than it is but I did manage to give myself an arm hair, eyebrow and hair trim while flipping one of the last large bottom cuts in

Do that 'ere and you end up in court. Bloody bureaucracy gone mad.
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

Every now and then we have the odd camp fire...

for scale, you might be able to make out the box trailer just off to the right, I'd like to say the trailer is 8x5 but she isn't just a 5x3

I only go to the trouble of blocking it up if I can be bothered stacking it for myself, and only when it is out of fire season. If anyone else wants it as blocked mill ends they can collect it and block it themselves or pay me for the privilage.

When I find some land to set up on permanently I will get a cradle saw to block it all up with.

Yeah, Carl, I've decided to do something similar but without the forks. I've found while milling if the tailing pile is stacked a bit neatly (at home, I'll do it between two rows of star pickets) then I can slice up a heap of sawdust in a very short amount of time.

Just saw DJ's trick with that at CALMS yesterday and thought I'm onto that one at home as well.

    Thanks DJ.

That photo of the star pickets did not register at first. An original Ozzie Saw Buck without the tie wire. Just what I was looking for.
