If you are looking for someone to drop your trees in return for keeping them (ie no payment), you are barking up the wrong tree. Timber is not valuable until it is dropped, milled, dried etc etc. You can get them dropped and then offer the trees to others for free, saving yourself tipping fees, but you will not be able to avoid the initial dropping fee.

That's very generous of you, but can I suggest you add some detail, like some piccys or type of tree, or exact size of trunk?

Being on a house site, are there buildings/house within vicinity of said tree's? Like Neil has said, the value of raw log - after you add transport costs is rather minimal, and almost certainly less than the cost of removing the trees.Plus depending on circumstance the the 'house block' tress have the added danger of possible metal in them.

But Like Willy Said, add some more detail, pics always help

    Default I'll say it

    Hmmmmmm

I have been stewing on this for awhile now.

I am a little annoyed with people who become a member and immediately offer something for sale. I see it reasonably often (1st Post in the For sales or Auctions or individual specific forums). They always seem to put their post up and never come back to answer the questions or provide follow up info. This thread seems to be a classic, in my opinion.

I reckon people must join and be a member and through their contributions (X number of posts prior to being admitted to the Auctions) gain a little respect prior to selling something. I believe some people see forumites as just a potential customer base, rather than a place to assist others, learn, spread knowledge etc.

Maybe Moderators are better off deleting posts from first Posters if they are offering good etc for sale and clearly seeking an advantage??

I wouldn't be terribly concerned if this post was deleted for breaching Ubeaut guidelines, or moved to a more suitable forum for further discussion

    Sincerely
    Willy

Well said Willy It is a common thing here. Perhaps moderators a minimum of 20 or so posts before being able to offer anything for sale.
