holden utes cant go everyware.
not really a milling thread but it happend wile i was milling at coomera.
so i have a holden rodeo 4wd that is pretty unbeatable.
a we were driving around looking saplings for chair legs when one gully looked to wet to cross. so guy says ill just drive around the end (he was driving for some reason). so i got out and had a look and told him there is know way itd make it accross. he decided it would and went for it before i could stop him.
Attachment 107493
well needless to say he didnt make it the bulbar was sitting against a stump in teh creek witch was latter reveled to be 2 feet deep even thow it is only a foot wide. with the back on the bank sticking up in the air.
Attachment 107494
and who do u think had to stip down to his jocks to try and jack under teh wheel (me). with no winch or even a shovel we managed to get it out by diging the stump out with a crowbar and using chains and load binders as a winch. it was 2 hours of hard work.
Attachment 107495there are 3 lesons to learn form this.
1. creeks may be deeper than they are wide.
2. 4wd dosn't mean it can go anyware.
3. when teh owner a a vehicle says its not gunna make it then dont drive oit into the creek.

Where is your sense of adventure??
In my cousins old jeep, down a gully across the stream and up the other side, that was the plan, got to the creek bit and when the water went over the bonnet and poured in the vents, that is when we figured we were in trouble. Similar thing creek was only about 8 foot across but was about five feeet deep, oops.
Yes yes I know about checking depths before you do stuff."Rotten to the Core"
