    Some very nice looking logs in that stack - I hope that is your brother running along in front of the logs; that'd mean they are all 2' and bigger

    Nah Allan, that's the next generation of sawyer right there, my young bloke Jack.
    The logs vary between 300mm and 800mm and are around 5.8m long. Sugar gum apparently. They were dropped to put up a steel fence around the oval at the local primary school.

    No need to worry Charlsie, I just got of the phone with the powers that be and I am now the new owner of 13 Sugar gum logs of my choice in return for milling the remainder for the primary school fundraising committee.

    Good for you Neale, well done, on saving some timber and also helping the school out too. I did a bit of cutting awhile back for our local school too, they wanted to pay me for it, but I said having the lunch put on and the helper to lend a hand was more than enough payment.
