And Paul, the biggest ones are still standing .This one from yesterday gave me considerable grief .It was held up in a big Gum(left side in first pic) and wouldn't budge .Finally had to bring in snatch snap and some 4x4 power ...that sorted it!Mind you,the ute went backwards a few metres following the old tree to the ground ...another 7 trees to go...just like a never ending pack of Tim Tams ...MM

Welcome to the Forums and the Small Timber Milling section is an excellent place to start.
MM has had quite a deal to do with mango timber. If you like this thread you might like to view another of his from a while ago.

In fact if it were up to us to allocate him a Forum name, we might have made it MangoMan .

New gearbox has arrived just waiting for new belts and chains for slabber.Had to swap pulley wheel from old to new gearbox which was relatively easy ...the only things that haven't been replaced on the old mill are the RAILS.I dream of one day getting those 'light' aluminum ones ...one day ...so hoping to be milling next day or so .Mango logs are docked into relevant lengths ready for blade and slab work...can't wait ...MM
