    Default Topso chainsaw

A workmate has offered me a TOPSO chainsaw, his "italian stallion" as he calls it.
I have not yet seen the saw, so I searched the internet and found little other than the fact that they were produced in Modena Italy and there appears to be both 52 and 62cc models.
I have never seen one in the flesh before and wonder if anyone here has seen, heard of or used one.

    .

Thanks BobL, those two links were about the only thing I had found regarding TOPSO.
They seem to be somewhat of a mystery.

I also posted this question on an American forum and this link came up in one of the replies.
    China PowerPlus Limited - News
So it appears that they may now be Chinese, although I think the saw in question will be one of the Italian models.

They look like they may have been made by mcchuloch in their italian factory or from the mob that made the saws for mcchulloch there.

check out the double eagle 50 at this link. McCullochs range of Dolmar chain saws ...............
I am told that sharpening handsaws is a dying art.... this must mean I am an artisan.

Get your handsaws sharpened properly to the highest possible standard, the only way they should be done, BY HAND, BY ME!!! I only accept perfection in any saw I sharpen.
