Kevin,
I came across this thread for the first time today and read it over lunch. It was very moving and difficult to comprehend what yourself and your family are going through at the moment. It was hard reading about the ups and downs that you have experienced in such a relatively short period of time.
All I can do is wish your family the best in the future.

RIP Monique
Monique passed away in my arms just after 8pm last night. It had been a rough road for the entire 17 months.
She is now at peace.
I am so proud of her fighting spirit and the legacy she leaves behind in our children.
I am both shattered and relieved that the suffering is over.
Rest In Peace my love, your children and I will sleep well at night knowing that you will watch over us now and always.

Kev
Following monique's brave resistance to all that has been thrown at her over the last while has been inspiring and uplifting. She will always be with you and the kids, especially if times are tough for you, to remind you of how to face difficulties.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.Cheers

Kevin, you must be feeling drained and gutted at the moment. Especially with two little ones to look after also, your life has really thrown you some challenges. I am so sorry to hear about your loss, be kind to yourself and accept all offers of help. You are the most important thing in your children's lives, try to find your joy in them amidst the sadness. I am in Melbourne, eastern suburbs, if you need anything like babysitting or some cooking to go in the freezer PM me. I am a mum of 4 and am qualified and experienced in counselling families who have lost someone through suicide. Not the same as your loss, but I do understand your grief.
