brigalow
Hi All
Im interested in getting some timber to make a 1.2 mtr square dining table, so far on the sunshine coast l have been quoted $4000 a cube for some brigalow slabs. Sounds a bit dear to me, but may be I'm missing some thing as l hav'nt used brigalow before. Any opinions please.

i would call dave linton, linton gallery at maleny. He'd probably know if that price is reasonable or not as i'm sure he's used it a fair bit. I myself have bought offcuts of brigalow from him for turning which are just his leftover pieces so he's probably bought large quantities before.
