Ok I have just uploaded some pics of the 2 biggest of the old walnut trees. The guy in the pic is 6'2" to give you some idea of the size. The girth around the trunk of the tree in the 1st pic is 3.1 m and at least 3m from the ground up to where the branches fork off.

G'day Tim, we normally attach pictures directly to the post itself rather than in your Picture Album, the album is used for your collection of pictures that you may want to display rather than having to post them up in a thread or post or for whatever reasons you may have.
To attach a picture to the post itself, you need to use the at the top & bottom of each page and then click on the "Manage Attachments" in "Additional Options" below the "Reply to Thread" box, which will open another small page from which you click on "Browse" to locate the picture on your computer.
Once you have located the picture, you then click on "Upload" which will then upload the picture and it should display as a link in the "Additional Options" and you can then hit "Submit Reply"Cheers

Woodwould where would one source a buyer?
Prozac, thanks for the tip re the Bermie guy, have not heard of him so will follow it up. There are several blokes around here with portable mills
but I am not sure which ones are able to cut slabs as well.
Everyone else thanks so far for all your advice.
