Help identify timber
Help needed to identify what type of timber. My guess is some type of pine.
I understand its hard to see from pics but does anyone have a clue. Slab is about 1200 x 2100

How real is the colour? Looks like you have been playing with the yellows
How heavy is it?
Looks a bit like Mango to me, colour can vary quite a bitNeil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

I'm guessing mango, too - given the flash has made it yellower than normal.

hoop pine?
Could be hoop pine, grain structure and small knots and colour is similar to large ones I've seen
