    Talking Pacific Kauri

I am learning to make (adult) doll house furniture, and I am after a supplier of Pacific Kauri and/or limewood. I am so excited I am slowly setting up my own workshop in a section of my husband’s spare shed (I am not allowed in the cave), he jokingly asks me, “How can I live with myself taking away some of my little tools from their mother.

    Hi Hort,
I'm not sure of a supplier in Bendigo, but Mathews Timber in Vermont stock good quality Pacific Kauri.
Here's their details. Maybe they can ship to a depot in Bendigo?

Would any members of the forum like to comment on the suitability of Paulownia as an alternative timber. I believe it would be ideal but then as you know my opinion would be considered biased.
