Plywood Warping
I have several pieces of Hoop Pine (and some Birch) plywood that are warping/bowing. They're all 600x400 or 1200x600-300 and range from 1mm to 6mm thick.
Is there any way to straighten them and insure they won't warp in the future or how to prevent warping in the first place?
I only just got them but the biggest problem is the bloody weather alternating between very hot and dry to warm (28C) and humid. I use them for model ships and can't afford for them to be anything but true.
Any advise appreciated.
Thanks
Darren

dampen both sides and stack them flat with something on top to hold them flat.
put some dry towels etc underneath and between the sheets
they might not end up perfect but this will go a long way towards flattening them out

plywood is very prone to warping, particularly in the thinner sizes.
storing it flat and weighted is probably all you can doo.
some plywood is much worse than others & has lots of unballanced stresses within. I have seen whole packs of plywood that were warped so badly due to poor manufacture that it was useless.

Most powertools have sharp teeth.
People are made of meat.
Abrasives can be just as dangerous as a blade.....and 10 times more painfull.
