    crickey, lots of intel here, asked a simple question and got the whole nine yards...good stuff guys, always happy to learn and expand my knowledge...

    ok Mcarthur, need enough for a 1500mm square dining table, but thanks for the offer...

    i tried the above suggested links but with no luck, tried Annagote Timber , and they have a little at the current price of gold , but i figured as much considering the it's cedar...

    rather deal with a private seller or opperator, keep me posted if anyone gets wind of such a folk in or around sydney...

    Trend out near Windsor usually has it in stock, but I bought what I needed for a project at the Sydney Woodshow from Cedarworks who are based at Grafton ph (02) 6644 7769
    He has it in slab and board form.

    i just gave cedarworks a call but there out at the moment...will keep you posted when i talk to them...

    i checked but they don't apear to have a website...

    Default red cedar

    Mal from Boutique Timbers based at Rollands Plains near Port Macquarie, has around 50 cube of red cedar.
    He delivers to Sydney each month, and is down today with a truck load, some for the schools for coffee tables, some for Heritage Houses that he supplies (to do up old Government House at Parramatta, Elizabeth Bay House etc), and some for regular customers, including Trend and Wildwoods and others.
    drops a lot of jarrah and red gum slabs as well

    He can deliver for collection at Greenwich or for larger orders will drop at your house.
