Thread: Sheoak in Perth

I am looking for a thich piece of figured Sheoak to use as an electric guitar body. I was hoping to get 330x450x50 or two bookmatching 170x450x50 slabs.

Does Sheoak grow 330mm wide? Where is the best place to get it in Perth? Ive looked on gumtree and at Carbatec. Carbatec had Sheoak but not wide enough even for the bookmatched set.

How much should I expect to pay for this? I was hoping to get it for about $100. Is this realistic?
