Timber in Brisbane
Where does everyone in Brisbane (prefer Nth) get their timber for fine woodworking projects? Rough sawn is fine, but the likes of bunnings etc is out as I want finer species than just pine & tas oak (don't ask me what it is I am looking for though as I am still in the design stage of some projects)

I go to Lazarides for anything needed for special projects. He's very reliable & helpful, even for small orders, & he has a big range of species & sizes. Not the cheapest place in town, but you can usually buy exactly what you want/need & have very little waste or leftovers - which nearly always works out to be the least expensive for me!

Britton Timbers in Kremzow Rd has quite a good range; they are cheaper than Lazarides, but less good service.
